Liam got in touch today to say that he’d had second thoughts and that sleeping with someone the way we did, purely for sex, doesn’t sit right with who he is. My only reaction was to totally respect him for his honesty and openness rather than just blocking me, which might have been the easier option if he were a lesser man.
When we met and consequently slept together, I sensed he was a higher-quality man than I’ve been used to and for that reason, I shouldn’t have slept with him but it’s been a good lesson for me – high-value, respectful, honest decent men do exist.
